What is natural silk?

Silk is an extended protein fiber (filament) that is spun by silkworms in nature and is known as an egg body (cocoon). Gram in a period of about 30 days, which alternately includes feeding on mulberry tree leaves and sleeping. It starts to produce silk fiber from its salivary glands and covers these two fibers with a layer of gum. It is worth mentioning that the silk cocoon has a continuous fiber with a length of 800 to 1200 meters. After finishing spinning the cocoon, the silkworm goes to sleep (pupa) and after turning into a butterfly, it pierces the shell of the cocoon and exits it, then in a few days it starts mating and laying eggs and lives. It ends. The process of producing silk fibers begins after the cocoon is produced by the silkworm and before the filament is transformed into a butterfly by the human agent.
